Terms of Service

Sortie is a marketplace operated by Sortie Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Sortie", "we", "us") that connects consumers seeking drone services with verified DGCA-licensed pilots.

• Consumer. The person booking a drone job through the consumer mobile app.
• Pilot / Partner. An individual or organisation executing the booked job. Pilots must hold a valid DGCA licence for the drone class they fly.
• Admin. Sortie staff that dispatch missions, verify pilots, and resolve disputes.

Prices shown in the consumer app are computed server-side from service type, area, crop / brief, location, and date. Quoted prices are final once a booking is confirmed; if the executed area differs from the booked acreage by more than 15% the pilot must record the actual acreage and the final price will be recomputed.

Consumers may raise a dispute within 72 hours of mission completion via the consumer app. Pilot payouts are held in "FROZEN" status until Sortie Admin resolves the dispute. Resolutions in favour of the consumer trigger a refund; resolutions in favour of the pilot release the held earnings.

Pilots agree to operate within DGCA rules, maintain valid insurance, submit a pre-flight checklist for every mission, and capture before/after evidence photographs. Repeated evidence-gate failures may result in account suspension.

Sortie's total liability for any claim arising from a single mission is limited to the booked price of that mission. We do not accept liability for consequential or indirect damages.

We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes bump the version number and require re-acceptance on next sign-in.
